Here we have one example the famous 'green man'. As a woodcarver i always wanted to carve my own green man. I really enjoyed the challenge of carving this from solid oak. This is one of many 'green men' ideas i have in mind. I plan to add many more designs to my collection, with varied faces and size of carvings and they will be on sale for you to enjoy!
i really enjoy the freedom of a carving designs like this, as no two carvings will ever come out the same.
The history of the green man dates back hundreds of years, with great examples being found in cathedrals and buildings all over europe. i plan very much to keep this tradition alive!
